Stress Eating

Is anyone else stress eating through their day to cope? Here are some tips on how to reduce stress eating:

  1. Start your day with a balanced breakfast. You should include protein, a complex carb and healthy fat. This will keep your blood sugar as stable as possible during the morning rush to catch up on life and plan your “work from home” day.

  2. Schedule your meals- Have a good plan as to what you will eat and when. Add in some treats for yourself during this incredibly stressful time in our lives. You deserve it and don’t feel guilty about it!

  3. Plan your treats! Above is a photo of Mochi. It’s our favorite little ice cream treats. It’s perfectly portioned and incredibly satisfying.

  4. Schedule in physical activity. This is crucial.

  5. Choose a time at night that you will commit to stop eating. This helps you to set boundaries.

  6. Make sure each meal is a well balanced one. If you snack too much or eat micro meals, you will be snacking all day and always looking for something satisfying.

  7. Don’t forget those Extra Special Treats!!
